New on Netflix today! July 1st, 2015

It's a new month, everybody, and you know what that means: a buttload of new movies have officially been added to the Netflix library! Exciting, no?

Unfortunately, you may want to curb your enthusiasm a little, as we've had better first-of-the-month lineups. But all of the average, mediocre additions aside, we do have one documentary that's an absolute, without a doubt, must-see (especially for all my fellow skeptics out there). It's called An Honest Liar and it's about magician-turned-skeptic-extraordinaire, James Randi, whose personal life is apparently just as enthralling as his work at debunking psychics and faith healers.

While this is the only new film added today that's a real winner, we also get a few older goodies to feast upon, including Warren Beatty's too-often-overlooked masterpiece, Bulworth; the 90's classic, Alive, about a group of plane crash survivors forced into cannibalism; and an hour-long stand-up comedy special featuring Dave Attell, who's one of better comedians working today.

There's plenty more to come this month, but, until then, remember to watch An Honest Liar, and be sure to subscribe to our mailing list (it's over there somewhere —>) to get daily Netflix updates sent directly to your email.
