New on Netflix today! February 1st, 2016

Today on Netflix comes our big February 2016 lineup. There's more additions to come throughout the month, but it's always on the 1st that we get our biggest steaming load all at once.

For February 1st, we're getting an unusually large amount of popular late 1990s and early 2000s films, including teen favorites (well, 1990's teens) such as Cruel Intentions (1999), Charlie's Angels (2000), Scooby-Doo (2002), and the poor — scientifically illiterate — mans Deep Impact, 1998's Armageddon. Along with these, also comes Robert Rodriguez's awesome Frank Miller adaptation of Sin City (2005) and Stanley Kubrick's Vietnam flick, Full Metal Jacket (1987) (which happens to be one of the few films where the second half is meh while the entire first half somehow manages to remain one of the greatest films of all time).

And for those who missed the first season of the Breaking Bad spin-off (I can't believe spin-off's are back in style), Better Call Saul, guess what? We get that too!

In total, as usual, I want more. Maybe a few classic film noirs from the 40s, or perhaps a collection of past Oscar winners (tis the season, you know). Some old school cartoons like Duckman, Animaniacs, or maybe even The Critic would be cool too. But ah well. I suppose we're getting our 8 dollars worth.
