Dum-da-da-daaaa! Here they come, folks, the new Netflix arrivals for April, 2016!
This batch is, thankfully, much better than last months (and most months before) with additions such as Christopher Guest's hilarious Best In Show, the cult-favourite, V for Vendetta, Robert Downey Jr.'s wayyy-post-Avengers (yeah, kids, he existed before the Iron Man movies) Oscar nominated portrayal of Charlie Chaplin, a double-dose of Stephen King adaptations, with both Cujo and The Running Man, and the classic The Right Stuff (in case you feel like seeing Daredevil's mentor, before he turned ancient).
Also new are a few of the greatest films of all time, including The Shawshank Redemption, Boogie Nights, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, The Princess Bride, Scrooged, and Sunset Boulevard. Most of these, however, are movies that Netflix had already had in their library just a couple of months ago; so this is really just a re-add of a bunch of stuff they shouldn't have gotten rid of in the first place.
Other notable additions (and re-additions) include the Jack Nicholson/Diane Keaton rom-com, Something's Gotta Give, one of the better Clint Eastwood-directed movies, Mystic River, one of the greatest sci-fi disaster flicks ever, Deep Impact, Explorers, Erin Brockovich, My Girl, the Al Pacino-directed, Looking for Richard, a new Steve Jobs documentary, and Minions.
On the television front, there's new seasons of TURN, Girl Meets World, Bob's Burgers, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, a shit-ton of home-improvement and food-related reality shows, and a buncha other crap no one will ever watch.
